The Founder

Nikita
Khandheria

Hospitality Entrepreneur & Business Architect

Nikita is a hospitality and events entrepreneur, startup founder, and business operator whose career is defined by velocity, range, and results. Educated across international systems and grounded in quantitative discipline, she has built, scaled, and exited businesses across food, live events, and real-estate-adjacent operations—while maintaining an active presence in civic leadership and nonprofit development.

A female founder in the hospitality industry, Nikita founded Ditas in 2022 at 17 after independently raising capital for the venture. She guided the company through a year-long construction and launch phase before opening in 2023. After acquiring the business from investors, she assumed full operational control and, in 2024, repositioned it toward high-margin, experience-driven private events and corporate gatherings.

"The intersection of profitability and culture—proving that well-designed experiences are both financially resilient and magnetically relevant."

Under her leadership, the company evolved into a model for profitable hospitality-led events—challenging the long-held industry assumption that restaurants and event spaces must operate at a loss. Nikita later renamed the company eria—the final four letters of her surname—as a signature brand reflecting her philosophy of monetized experience, operational precision, and design-forward execution.

In parallel, Nikita acquired Judy’s Breadsticks in 2024, scaling the consumer food brand nationally before completing a successful exit in 2025. Earlier in her career (2021–2022), she bought and sold multiple laundromat businesses, sharpening her expertise in cash-flow businesses, operational leverage, acquisitions, and disciplined exits. Her portfolio reflects a rare blend of founder instinct and private-equity rigor.

Her academic background informs her reputation as a data-driven entrepreneur—equally fluent in financial modeling, systems design, and brand architecture.

Prior to university, she completed her education at the British International School and Redwood, graduating with honors, while interning at a dependency law firm (2018–2020), gaining early exposure to legal systems and structured advocacy.

"Building nonprofit clinics in rural India — because human impact is the ultimate metric of a successful architecture."

Beyond business, Nikita’s impact extends internationally. From 2015 to 2018, she helped build two nonprofit clinics in rural India focused on women’s healthcare and education, leading multi-year outreach initiatives across underserved communities. These clinics are now operated by Gramin Health Care, continuing their mission at scale.

Today, Nikita is recognized as a hospitality entrepreneur, startup founder, and strategic advisor specializing in scaling experience-driven businesses. She is frequently sought out as a podcast guest, panel speaker, and contributor on entrepreneurship, business acquisitions, hospitality innovation, and founder-led growth. Her work sits at the intersection of profitability and culture—proving that well-designed experiences can be both financially resilient and magnetically relevant.
