100 women of different ethnicities, different professions, and different backgrounds are coming to one of the Bay Area’s most beautiful venues.

One evening designed to connect you with women you've never met in ways that will stay with you long after you leave.

The Power of Interracial Sisterhood: An Evening of Connection is a structured, facilitated experience built around the most powerful thing women can do right now: listen to each other's stories and build real connection across difference.

Here's how the evening works:

You arrive to cocktails, a light buffet dinner, and conversation during golden hour on the Bay overlooking San Francisco.

Then we sit down together for an evening of fireside chats with four remarkable women, each ending with a question that you'll discuss with someone you've just met. Over the course of the evening, you'll have three to four real conversations with women you didn't know when you walked in.

You will leave having actually connected with women who don’t look like you or work in the same field, whose stories will surprise you, challenge you, and stay with you.

Our speakers:

Dr. Gina Fromer — President and CEO, GLIDE Foundation One of San Francisco's most visionary and beloved institutional leaders, Dr. Fromer has spent her career building community, fighting poverty, and centering the voices of the most marginalized people.

Felicia Medina — Employment Discrimination, Equal Pay and Sexual Harassment Plaintiff-Side Litigator, Partner, Valerian Law Felicia is a nationally acclaimed attorney and advocate for women’s workplace rights, having secured some of the largest class and individual settlement awards in employment discrimination cases on record. 

Asya Bradley — Startup and Venture Capital Lead, Stripe

Asya Bradley is a multi-exited Serial Founder, Super Angel Investor, advisor and board director in tech startups and a Limited Partner @Cowboy Ventures @Ganas Ventures @Kinship Ventures @Deciens @CapTable Coalition @BTV etc. With over 20 years of experience in tech (founding team @Synapse, founder @Kinly: Acquired by Killer Mike's Greenwood, Cisco alum), Asya is an experienced investor, operator, and fintech entrepreneur with a long track record of supporting underestimated founders. 

Karen Fleshman — Founder, Interracial Sisterhood Coalition and Racy Conversations Antiracism educator, facilitator, and community builder. Karen creates spaces for women of different ethnicities and generations to build trust, deepen relationships, and practice collective care and accountability. For almost a decade, Karen has hosted interracial sisterhood events and retreats throughout the US and the Caribbean. Her work is guided by a profound belief that uniting women across difference is how we will secure our collective safety and freedom.

MC: Vylma V — Host, Women's Magazine, KPFA Radio, Meditation Teacher, Professional Feminist

Vylma V produces and hosts Women’s Magazine on the first Monday of every month at 1pm on 94.1 KPFA Community Radio and teaches meditation at the YWCA in Berkeley.  Vylma V is a former civil rights attorney and the founder and creator of the V- Method for Women’s Liberation. She is a drummer/dancer in the Afro-Puerto Rican Bomba/Plena folklore tradition and loves running, reading, and seeking guidance from Tarot/Oracle cards. She has been married for 31 years and raised two fine young men. Vylma V is a bonafide W.I.T.C.H (Woman in Total Control of Herself).
